Missing Browser Dock entries (e. g. Twitch Chat) in Docks menu (Flatpak, Wayland/GNOME)

Hey,

I've been trying to set up OBS Studio on Linux (Fedora 44, GNOME, Wayland) after migrating from Windows. Everything works fine except for one issue: the browser-related dock entries are completely missing from the Docks menu. Specifically, "Chat" and "Custom Browser Docks" do not appear at all.

The obs-browser plugin loads successfully according to the log, and Browser Sources work correctly inside scenes. So the plugin itself is functional — it just doesn't register its UI components in the Docks menu. As a result, there is also no "Connect Account" button under Settings → Stream → Twitch, which seems to be part of the same problem.

There is a workaround described in a video from 2024: using Flatseal to set the environment variable QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb forces OBS to use XWayland, which apparently restores the missing dock entries. However, since Wayland is now the standard and the future of Linux desktop sessions, this cannot be considered a real fix. I'm posting this to bring attention to the issue again and hope for a proper fix — or if anyone has more information on this, I'd appreciate it.

I couldn't find an active bug report for this, but based on my research this issue seems to have existed since at least 2024. If a log is needed, I can provide it later.

**Environment:**
- OBS Studio: 32.1.2
- Installation: Flatpak (Flathub)
- Flatpak Runtime: org.freedesktop.Platform 25.08
- Distribution: Fedora 44
- Desktop: GNOME
- Session: Wayland
